Back in the mists of time.......

....there was a group of guys and gals, into their bikes and their pubs, but this was 1976 and there were no mobile phones, no XBOX and the world wide web was something to do with organised crime syndicates, so they were at a bit of a loose end. That was until the local bobby suggested " why don't you form a bike club?" and thus the Gropers was born.

After this it all becomes a little hazy as our original and long standing members got lost in the heady days that were the late 70's and early 80's. As soon as I can get them drunk enough to start reminiscing, I'll update you more.
